My first blog

After lot of deliberations, self-encouragement and dilly dallying i have finally started my very own blogsite :) It is amusing to note that of all the interesting events that happened in the last couple of weeks, months and years, one sordid movie broke the last straw and made me start my blog. You will see my review in the next blog anyways....so keep guessing the movie name till then.

Now a very basic introduction about myself - I am IBCD (Indian born confused Desi - we are the advaced counterpart versions of the American born ones). Being an IT professional gives me the distinctive edge that very few Indians [just a few millions in India ;) ] have. But fortunately i have been travelling a lot abroad and thats what makes my life interesting. Currently in Australia i am experiencing a completely new culture every single day (I mean to say, with the number of Europeans and Asians u are sure to meet a person from a different culture every single day). So that's about me for now.... more in the coming blogs.... so lets get started with my first movie review......

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.
